Instant Pot Turkey Burger

In my house, we are always looking for quick, easy and healthy meals to make for dinner. As a mom with kids, we are always on the go, so I don’t want to spend hours in the kitchen making dinner. With my Instant Pot, life has just become so much easier! These Instant Pot turkey burgers are not only a healthy option, but with a little lettuce, tomato, and mayo, they whip up into a truly delicious sandwich.

What are Turkey Burgers?

Many of us have made hamburgers in our Instant Pot, but red meat isn’t necessarily the healthiest option for us. So, instead, you can make these deliciously healthy turkey burgers, A turkey burger tastes almost identical to a regular hamburger except that instead of being made with ground beef, it is made with ground turkey.

Turkey burger Ingredients

For this recipe, you really won’t need a lot of ingredients. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Ground turkey
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Paprika
  • White pepper
  • Parsley
  • Hamburger buns

Ground Turkey: Ground turkey is a healthier hamburger option than ground beef. But, you can choose to use ground beef instead (see instructions, below).

Seasonings: Even plain ground beef isn’t the best! Season up your burgers by mixing in salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and white pepper.

Hamburger buns: If you want to make this recipe low carb, consider getting Keto buns. I like the Smartbuns.

Can You Freeze Them?

Absolutely! However, to prevent them from being dry, I would suggest storing the burgers in the freezer before you cook them. Either way, place your burgers in a freezer bag with parchment paper in between each patty.
