What are Turkey Burgers?
Many of us have made hamburgers in our Instant Pot, but red meat isn’t necessarily the healthiest option for us. So, instead, you can make these deliciously healthy turkey burgers, A turkey burger tastes almost identical to a regular hamburger except that instead of being made with ground beef, it is made with ground turkey.
Turkey burger Ingredients
For this recipe, you really won’t need a lot of ingredients. Here’s what you’ll need:
- Ground turkey
- Salt
- Pepper
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Paprika
- White pepper
- Parsley
- Hamburger buns
Ground Turkey: Ground turkey is a healthier hamburger option than ground beef. But, you can choose to use ground beef instead (see instructions, below).
Seasonings: Even plain ground beef isn’t the best! Season up your burgers by mixing in salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and white pepper.

How to Store Leftovers
You can store leftover turkey burgers in your refrigerator for about 3 days. Simply place them in an airtight Tupperware container and place them in the refrigerator. Keep in mind that the longer they are in the fridge, the more dried out they will be.
Can You Freeze Them?
Absolutely! However, to prevent them from being dry, I would suggest storing the burgers in the freezer before you cook them. Either way, place your burgers in a freezer bag with parchment paper in between each patty.
